I use a double boiler to make mine. Safe with no chance of exploding. Set a timer for 30 minutes, check water level and stir. This allows me to make sure that I have the consistency and color that I want.
@RecipeThis I have been eaten canned Corned Beef out of the can ever since I was kid away back from the (1970s) & even to this day of the (2020s Twenty-Twenties) & even later on into the (2030s Twenty-Thirties) and beyond is that I would still be eating Corned Beef out of the can of course. Away back ever since from the (1970S) & onwards that my mother used make Corned Beef Hash but with Chopped Onion and a bit of water & served it with either Pasta Noodles &/or Boiled Rice, Mashed Potato. But when I left home I make &/or cook my very own Corned Beef Hash with a Couple of Cans of Corned Beef into a Pan &/or Saucepan & then add Chopped Onion & then add Water & if the texture is too watery for my Corned Beef Hash THEN I do mix both Corn Flour & a bit of Water in a Cup & then add it to my Corned Beef Hash and then stir it until it thickens & if you want Curried Corned Beef Hash then add Curry Powder with both of the Corn Flour & Water &/or just simply add the Curry Powder itself straight into the Corned Beef Hash & stir it while cooking of course. I also do make my very own Corned Beef Sandwiches just simply by using the canned Corned Beef & then add the Corned Beef from the Can on my Slices of Bread as Sandwiches of course.

I have ninja 15-1 with pressure setting but did not get a strainer attachment to place inside. Can I use anything else
Anything that will work as a streamer with holes is fine. We originally used a steamer from our soup maker as we didn't get one with ours either.

You're welcome I just wish they did the 4 pie ones here. But I noticed it's just Australia that has them and they are much more popular there. I make the quiche ones the most especially for taking with us on road trips and for picnics. They are so easy.

Is that a Crockpot with the built-in stirrer in the background? If so, how do you find the stirring function? Does it make much difference?
No sorry it isn't. It is one that you can use on the hob so saves browning separately but doesn't stir for me.

When I make lentil soup I use Lentils, carrots, swede(turnip), leeks, sweet potatoes, butternut squash and add some smoked back bacon or a chopped up smoked gammon steak (ham steak)

Hello I really enjoyed seeing you do the rotisserie beef I'm sorry I don't have that facility on my air fryer when your husband started to take the string off I was most worried as he was using the knife blade upwards and drawing it towards him he could of course the very ugly accident and I only pointed out for his safety not to be pedantic

On my brisket joint of beef it says cook for over 3 hours… I hope this turns out ok in air fryer via your method… that’s under an hour I think you did it in… will it be ok, brisket is under a kg in weight
Absolutely we have done several brisket joints in the air fryer.
Just did it and it came out chewy and tough, but could be the joint of beef itself, however there’s no denying beef is harder to cook and get right than pork, lamb or chicken, you can’t really mess those up, beef I’ve never been able to get tender and not chewy…

You can do the microwave or the air fryer. I used to plate some for my grandma back in the 90s then microwave. But the air fryer would be good for the bits you want crispy such as roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding but microwave might be better for cabbage etc. but it depends what you have to reheat.

I’d have cooked the pork skin-side up. Nice idea for the mixed veg.
I've tried a whole chicken in the air-fryer a couple of times (ours is a Scoville 6.5 litre one) but I find that although the breast and drumsticks may be up the the correct temp, the part of the chicken where the wing attaches to the main body always seems to be a good bit below the desired temp of 75 degrees - any tips on why that would be?
The only reason why that would be is the hot air is not getting to that area consistently so not cooking it properly. So is the chicken quite tight to the sides of your air fryer basket? If the wings are quite tight to the side of chicken you could bend them down so the chicken sits on them and the air can get to the area you have described or you could chop the end of the wings off so there is more room for the air to move around :)
You could try basil as well
Did you put it on "roast" or "airfry" ?? Ninja has both possible settings.
If using a ninja always opt for air fry.
@@Recipethis Thanks ! I've tried roast potatoes on both settings. Roast is supposed to be better, but I always get much crispier/better results on "airfry" . . I don't know why they bothered to have the "roast" option on the machine.
@@Muswell I think it confuses so many people as all other brands just have one button. I have experimented with lots of recipes and found air fry is the best.
